Every stay at Aspen Glen Solitude, LLC begins with a choice of home. Lodge rooms carry the warmth of a classic mountain inn, with snug beds, pine-finished walls and breakfast steps from your door. Cabin suites stretch out across the hillside for families who want space, a kitchen and a private hot tub under the stars. Group chalets gather whole parties under one roof, with bunk rooms, a full kitchen and a game room built for late nights. Rates follow the season and shift with the length of your stay. The strongest prices are usually available for reservations made at least two weeks ahead, and groups of eight or more qualify for dedicated chalet pricing. Winter Season
Winter is when Big Cottonwood Canyon comes alive with powder and purpose. From mid-December through April the snow falls thick, the lifts turn early and the slopes open for skiing and snowboarding across the resort. Lodge guests ride the ski shuttle from a stop at the foot of the property, while cabin suites sit close enough for ski-in ski-out mornings. When the runs close, the lodge turns to its own rhythm: warm boots by the fire, hot chocolate in heavy mugs and the muffled quiet of a canyon under snow. A Solitude winter is slow in the best way, unhurried and full of light.
Summer Season
When the snow retreats, the canyon trades its white coat for every shade of green. Hiking and mountain biking trails climb from the lodge toward the ridgelines, and alpine lakes hold their cold blue color all season long. Guests scatter at breakfast and return at dusk with dusty boots, tired legs and full stories. Fly fishing on the creek, wildflower walks across the meadows and long picnic lunches define a Solitude summer. The elevation keeps the air cool even when the Salt Lake valley below presses toward triple digits, which makes the canyon the natural summer refuge for the whole region.
Year-Round Events

Our concierge maps trailheads for every fitness level, from gentle meadow loops to steep ridge climbs. In winter we arrange snowshoe routes through the quiet timber where the only sound is your own breathing.
