Getting Here
We sit on Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, a 35 minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport. Winter visitors should plan for traction requirements on canyon roads and can arrange a lodge transfer in advance.

Winter is the busiest season for skiers and snowboarders, with snow on the slopes from mid-December through April. Summer is equally special for hikers and bikers, with cool air and alpine lakes. Spring and fall offer the quietest stays and the softest rates. There is no bad month in the canyon; each one simply draws a different kind of traveler.
Yes. The group chalet sleeps eight or more and the lodge regularly hosts weddings, family reunions and team retreats year round. Our events team coordinates catering, transport, activities and setup so the hosts can enjoy the occasion. Send us your party size and dates and we will build a plan around them.
Bookings are confirmed by email after a deposit holds your room or chalet. Cancellations made fourteen or more days before arrival receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations inside fourteen days transfer the deposit to a future stay within one year. The full policy is described in our Terms of Service.
