Lodge Services

Everything the canyon has to offer

Aspen Glen Solitude, LLC runs a full-service mountain lodge and retreat in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Salt Lake City. From beds and breakfasts to ski access, dining, events and transfers, every service is built around one goal: a stay that feels effortless and unforgettable.

Lodge and Cabin Stays

Comfort is the foundation of every stay with Aspen Glen Solitude, LLC. Lodge rooms feature hand-built pine beds, soft linens, reading lamps and thick quilts for cold canyon nights. Cabin suites add a full kitchen, a private hot tub and enough room for a family to spread out, while group chalets sleep eight or more across bunk rooms and private bedrooms. Every room opens to mountain views, and every stay includes a hot breakfast served in the dining room each morning. Housekeeping runs daily, the linen is refreshed between every party, and the firewood is stacked beside every fireplace before you arrive.

Ski and Snowboard Access

Big Cottonwood Canyon sits minutes from two of the most celebrated ski areas in Utah, and our location makes the mountain the easiest part of your day. A ski shuttle stops at the foot of the property through the winter months, carrying lodge guests straight to the lift lines. Cabin suites on the hillside offer ski-in ski-out access on the best snow mornings, and group chalets include a private transfer with a vehicle and driver arranged by our team. We store your gear in a heated rack room with boot dryers, sell lift tickets through the front desk and keep a trail report posted in the lobby before breakfast every morning.

Group Retreats and Events

Some of the best nights in the canyon happen when a whole group gathers under one roof. The group chalet hosts family reunions, milestone birthdays, team camps and company retreats, with a full kitchen, a long dining table, a game room and sleeping space for eight or more. Our events team coordinates the details end to end: catering from the lodge kitchen, transportation for the group, activity scheduling on the mountain and setup for ceremonies on the deck. Weddings are a particular strength, with the peaks serving as the backdrop and the reception moving indoors as the canyon cools. We host year round.

Dining and Après

The lodge kitchen keeps the canyon fed from first coffee to last dessert. Breakfast is the anchor: eggs, pancakes, granola and mountain fruit served family style every morning. Dinner is served most evenings by reservation, with a seasonal menu built around hearty mountain cooking, local produce and a small but thoughtful wine list. The fireside bar pours hot cider, spiced drinks and a rotating selection of local brews. On cold afternoons the après hour brings wool blankets, board games and snacks to the great room, and on summer evenings dinner moves to the deck overlooking the valley. Dietary needs are handled with a simple note at booking.

Trail and Outdoor Activities

The canyon is the real amenity, and we keep the doors to it wide open. In summer our concierge maps hiking and mountain biking trails for every fitness level, from easy meadow loops to steep ridge climbs above the treeline. Fly fishing gear is available for the creek, and picnic lunches are packed on request for lake days. In winter we arrange snowshoe routes through the quiet timber and guided backcountry tours with trusted local partners. Guests can borrow packs, poles, sleds and even a set of binoculars for wildlife mornings. Whatever the season, we point you toward the best light, the best trail and the best hour to be on it.

Concierge and Transport

A mountain stay should never get tangled in logistics. Our concierge team books lift tickets, dinner reservations, guides and lessons before you arrive, and they are one phone call away all day. Airport transfers run between Salt Lake City International and the lodge on request, and group chalets include dedicated private transport for the party. We arrange ski and bike rentals delivered to the door, stock your cabin with groceries ahead of arrival and keep a small fleet of loaner vehicles for errands into town. You come for the mountain; we handle everything between the airport, the trailhead and the fireplace.
